t is already known by all NFL insiders that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has to his credit practically every major record in the history of the NFL, he is the maximum Super Bowl winner, the one with the most wins, the most air yards, touchdown passes, complete passes, however, if he stays healthy this year, he will achieve another unique milestone.
With the Bucs hosting the Seattle Seahawks at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on Sunday, Nov. 13, it will not only be the first game in the league to be played in the European country, but it will also be the first game of the 2022 NFL International Series.
In addition, TB12 will become the first player in NFL history to play at least one regular season game in four different countries, a bunch of games in the United States, two in England, one in Mexico and now one in Germany.
2009: Tom Brady in England
The first time Brady played outside of U.S. soil was in 2009 when the New England Patriots defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7, ironically, at Wembley Stadium in London, England – who knew back then that the GOAT was facing his next NFL team.
2012: Back at Wembley
In 2012, Brady returned to the hallowed turf of Wembley to measure himself against the then St. Louis Rams, it was again a thrashing in favor of the Pats, this time by a score of 45-7 and the quarterback caught four touchdown passes.
2017: Tom Brady at the Azteca Stadium
It was until 2017, when in the season in which he won his last Super Bowl with New England, Brady visited Mexico City’s Azteca Stadium for the first time, faced the Oakland Raiders, and again won easily by 33-8.
2022: New adventure in Germany
It is clear that this will be Brady’s first game with the Buccaneers abroad, Tampa Bay has never won outside the United States and TB12 has never lost outside their country, one of the two streaks will have to end.
